On February 27, 2019, the OPERANDUM partners are having an Information Meeting on Advancing the Agenda on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation: Application of Ecosystem Services and Nature Based Solutions. The meeting is being hosted by UNESCO, at their headquarters (Room IV).
This meeting providesd a great opportunity to learn about how nature-based solutions (NBS) and ecosystem services for disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA) are mainstreamed in policies, strategies and across multiple SDGs at international, European and national levels. International experts from UNESCO, UN sister organisations and the European Commission will present their agenda and highlight it with examples of large-scale demonstration projects, including OPERANDUM project.
