When: 13-17 May 2019
Where: Milan, Italy

The Living Planet symposium focuses on how Earth Observation contributes to science and society. And how disruptive technologies and actors are changing the traditional Earth Observation landscape. This creates new opportunities for public and private sector interactions.
The themes of the symposium were:
- Earth Science
- Earth Observation Missions
- Space 4.0
- Resilient Society
- Partnership
On the last day of the symposium our consortium partner the Delft University of Technology presented together with the Univeristy of Innsbruck (Austria). The topic of their presentation was Natural Hazard. Adriaan van Natije presented together with others about ‘An integrated Waterbalance Approach to Analyze Hydro-Meteorological Geohazards‘. The attendees of the presentation were enthusiastic about the presentation.
We want to thank ESA for organising this interesting day.
