The European conference on Risk Perception addressed risk perception, evacuation, response, and adaptation behaviour with 35 researchers, experts and practitionners from 14 countries. The aim was to build a multidisciplinary panoramic European view. Read the whole conference summary.
During the conference Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and the role of perception in assessing and reducing risk to natural hazards were discussed. Carl Cyrus Anderson from the University of Glasgow gave a presentation on the first day of the conference. The presentation was about Paradigm Shifts and Challenges.
